European Direct Debit

A direct debit, similar to the ACH transaction in the US, is a commonly used payment method in various European countries. The payment method allows a merchant to debit a consumer's bank account automatically after an approval from the consumer. Direct Debits are cost effective and relatively fast.

Direct Debits are country specific and require individual set up in each country.  A local presence may be required. Atlantic Payment arranges this for you in 10 European countries and offers an integrated electronic batch input file and report file besides online reporting.

Offer your European customers this option. As many buyers choose not to pay with Visa or MasterCard - direct debit is another payment method you should offer.   Call us today or click here to request more information
